The journey from being a student in Ireland to a Medical Director in Trinidad and Tobago has been for Roland Charles an impressive trajectory, marked by milestones of accomplishment all along the way.

Training took him through numerous US-based facilities and institutions––where he acquired knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This multi-faceted background landed him appointments across Trinidad as Biomedical Consultant, Managing Director and Medical Director, at institutions including: the new San Fernando Teaching Hospital, VAMED AG and UDECOTT, as well as selection to render oversight for the Medical Teams at both the Summit of the Americas and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting hosted in Port of Spain in 2009.

Joining BMETT as our Head Consultant – Service & Logistics, Roland is positioned to offer our Clients the benefits of his 22 years of experience and expertise––in biomedical sales, commissioning and maintaining of key equipment in the medical field.

He’s our Manager who takes responsibility for acquiring resources and coordinating the work of BMETT Team members, as well as third-party contractors and consultants…thus guaranteeing that our projects run according to plan.

He carries the BMETT flag in the key areas of: pre-sales support-site planning, order execution phase, together with quality and regulatory matters…among many other duties.
